Atlas
The shape of the Atlas explicitly defines them as studio speakers. If somebody does not become discouraged by their slightly archaic form, subordinated only to the technology, then installing them in a living room is a splendid solution.

High effectiveness by 8 Ohm linearized impedance allows very good cooperation with low power tube amplifiers, and high achievable power output, paired with a strong amplifier, allows to get sound levels unattainable even for gigantic “home” speaker systems.

It is common belief, that good studio speakers are speakers with ideally even frequency response. We add to that low non-linear distortion, low linear distortion (coloring) and good voltage impulse response.

We think, that only with such speakers the sound technician is able to ascertain, if the recording is close to live music or not.
